Clairvoyants
Anyone ever been to see a clairvoyant before? If so, was it eerily accurate or a load of old mumbo jumbo? I've always fancied giving it a go personally. Anyone know any decent ones in Essex?

My mother in law passed in 1991. Last week my wife was doing our market. Someone came up to her and said your husband has a gland problem from his stomach. I did I had early onset diabetes. Last week different market different Clairvoyant my wife gets a message at her stall to get her legal problems sorted now. I was well sceptical but this sort of thing has happened since she passed.

My mate had cystic fibrosis. He went to see one on Blackpool pier and the first thing she said was..

"You are going to live a long and healthy life"

He replied "Well, that's a waste of a tenner."

He died a few years later in 2010.

Have you not seen Derren Brown debunk all this. Showed all their techniques.
Mainly they are good at memory and reading people

Yeah , you said "So I am convinced that it CAN be genuine"

I was trying to demonstrate that you had been taken for a ride and its provably obvious that Clairvoyants are scammers and parasites

Do you or have you ever watched Derren Brown.

That man could make you think that you Dear departed Grandma watches over you by telling you everything you want to know...

Its a scam, he has shown time and time again how they do it.

If there is life after death and our loved ones have the ability to think, reason and know what they are doing and they KNOW there is life after death, why the bloody hell would they worry about finding Uncle Jims watch behind the couch or telling you that Grandad is happy you chose the new car...

They tell you what you want to hear. You want to hear that your dead loved ones are safe and well and that they are still themselves which enables you to believe that regardless of how fucking shit this life is, there is better on the other side for when you shuffle off the mortal coil....

....That will be £75 please.

My mum went to one with friends in her uni days. The reader told one of my mums friends that she would marry, have 2 children but wouldn't see them grow up. As it turned out years later that's what happened, she married and had 2 kids but then died of cancer in her late 20's. Make of it what you will.

OK Nurse, but you're just showing that you are more dogmatic than a religious nutter. I was just telling you what actually happened to me once. But you're basing your reaction on what you BELIEVE.

Re: Clairvoyants
I saw on e once at a time when I was very uncertain about my future (career etc). Amongst other more general stuff he told me that in 7 months time something would happen which would bring some clarity. I went away and forgot about it, but then my career suddenly changed direction one day when I met someone. I checked the calendar and it was exactly 7 months to the day. So I am convinced that it CAN be genuine, but there are certainly a lot a frauds out there, and even those who are genuinely trying to help people and maybe have some sort of "gift", can be wrong sometimes.

Joking aside, and I have no opinion either way,but my wife went with a friend of ours (who is a great girl, level headed etc etc) to a clairvoyant evening in a local bar. Yes, expect they'd had a few but our friend was deeply shaken....adamant he said stuff nobody else should/would have known. Not for me but just saying
